When and where are the 2020 Transplant Games?

The Transplant Games of America will be held at the Meadowlands, New Jersey on July 17-22, 2020.

Who can be an athlete at the games?

Any transplant recipient who has been post-transplant for at least nine months may participate in the Games. This includes allogenic bone marrow recipients, tissue recipients, and cornea recipients. Living donors may compete in select events as well. This is in addition to the 5K Race, which is open to everyone!

About the Competition.

Do I have to be an amazing athlete?

Of course not! People of all different skill levels compete in the Games. The meaning behind the Games is to celebrate recipients and honor their donors as well as to demonstrate that people with transplants are able to lead healthy, active lives. There are athletic and non-athletic competition events – there is something for everyone!

What activities are offered for donor families?

An inspiring donor family program will pay tribute to donors and their families. Workshops and other activities will also be available for donors families.

How can I get involved with Team NorCal?

You can join Team NorCal as an athlete or as a supporter. Additionally, you can contribute to the team.
