2026 Holiday Card Art Contest
Contest Theme: Love Gives, Life Grows
The love that is given by a donor hero through organ, eye and tissue donation is the gift of life that grows across our communities, providing transplant recipients everywhere with the second chance at life they deserve.
Important Dates
Art must be submitted online, or postmarked via mail by Monday, November 9th, 2026 11:59 P.M. PST)
Age Group Winners will be announced on November 27th, 2026.
The Social Media Winner will be announced on December 8th, 2026.
Social Media voting will open immediately following the Age Group Winners Announcement.
Submission Guidelines
The overall winning design will be showcased as the 2026 Donor Network West company holiday card.
Original Design: The artwork must be the student's original design.
Submission Limits: Only one submission is allowed per student.
Submission Formats
Paper submissions: Must be on 8.5 x 11 paper.
Digital submissions: Must be 8.5 x 11 at 300 DPI and saved as JPG, PDF, or TIFF.
Eligible Types of Art: Submissions can include paintings, drawings, or digital/computer-generated graphic designs.
No Text: Please DO NOT include any text in the artwork.
No AI-Generated Art: Submissions created using AI tools will NOT be accepted.
Rights and Usage: Donor Network West reserves the right to display, publish, and make submissions available to the public.
Non-Returnable: Artwork will not be returned to contestants.
Inclusive: Designs should appeal to people of multiple faiths and ethnicities.
Submission Origin: Artwork must be created and submitted by individuals residing within the United States and its territories.
Winning Categories and Prizes
**Overall Winner:** The winning artwork will be selected as DonorNetwork West's official holiday card for 2026.
The winner will receive a prize of $250.00 and will also receive 50 cards with envelopes featuring their design. The artist’s first name and last initial will be printed on the back of the card to acknowledge and credit their creation.
**2. Age Group Winners:** Three (3) winners will be chosen, one from each of the following age groups, with each receiving a prize of $200.00:
- Age 13 and under
- Age 14 to 18
- Age 19 and above
**3. Social Media Favorite:** One (1) additional winner will be selected based on social media engagement. The entry with the most likes across our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and Threads) will receive a prize of $100.00.
Judging Criteria
Submissions will be judged on the following criteria by Donor Network West Staff:

•Creativity
•Visual Impact
•Artistic Merit
•Originality
Winners will be determined by the artwork that receives the most votes in each age group.
