Together as One Community Banquet Celebrates the Gift of Life
WHAT: Together as One is a free, outdoor community banquet honoring donor families, celebrating donor recipients and raising awareness for organ, eye, and tissue donation. Virginia Street will close and the iconic Virginia Street Bridge will be transformed into an open-air dining experience with one expansive table.
WHO: Hosted by Donor Network West Foundation. Featuring donor families, transplant recipients and community advocates.

WHY: The northern Nevada community comes together to honor the life-saving impact of organ, eye and tissue donation. Together at one table, donor families, recipients, and advocates will unite to honor generosity, celebrate second chances, and inspire hope.
For nearly 40 years, Donor Network West has proudly served the northern Nevada
community as its federally-designated organ procurement organization. Donor Network West aims to help bridge the gap between hope and healing by carrying out its mission of saving and healing lives through organ, eye, and tissue donation for transplantation and research.
Special guests and speakers include: Janice Whaley, PhD., president and CEO, Donor Network West; Aces Executive Officer; Connect to Purpose (Donor Family and Recipients), and host Katey Roshetko, Morning Break anchor, KOLO
“Through this event, we are bringing together community leaders, donor families,
recipients, organ donation advocates, people waiting for the life-saving gift of organ donation, and more to share a meal al fresco at one expansive table,” said Janice Whaley, PhD, president and CEO of Donor Network West. “There are more than 700 Nevadans waiting for a second chance at life. Together as One aims to inspire them with hope and courage.”
