The 9th Annual Donate Life Run/Walk

The 9th Annual Donate Life Run/Walk

Lace up your shoes and get ready to run/walk our 5K or 10K on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at our 9th Annual Donate Life Run/Walk .

This annual event serves as a vital fundraiser for Donor Network West’s educational programs and helps to unite our community around the Bay Area. In 2018, our Donate Life Run/Walk welcomed more than 800 participants, raising over $100,000 — all in the name of organ and tissue donation.

If you are not be able to physically participate in the 5K or 10K, we encourage you to ask your friends, family, and colleagues to run or walk on your behalf.

Sign up as an individual or create your own team! FUNdraising and spreading awareness is always better together.

After you register, you can customize your page with pictures, share your story, and start inviting your friends and family to support you! Your fundraising page is a great tool, so be sure to share your link!

Volunteer

Volunteer

The Donate Life Run/Walk would not be possible without the help and support from our amazing volunteers. Each year, we need help with monitoring the course, handing out finisher medals, supplying snacks and beverages, cleaning up trash, and, of course, cheering on our runners and walkers.

Requirements:

  • Must be 13 years or older at the time of the event to volunteer
  • Must stay for entire shift
  • Must sign Donate Life Run/Walk volunteer waiver
  • Flexibility on your assigned task
  • A smiling face!

If interested, please complete our volunteer form by clicking here.

After signing up, you will receive an email confirmation. A couple of weeks before the run/walk, you will receive your assigned tasks accompanied with important details. Volunteer hours are available for students.

To help ensure that day-of operations run smoothly, we kindly ask that volunteers not participate in the run/walk.
