Share Light. Spark Hope

The light that a family feels from the gift of life being shared with one of their loved ones is fueled by the hope that is created by organ, eye,and tissue donation. This hope and light are what inspire us every single day to carry forth our mission, and we invite students across California and Nevada to show us and the world what light and hope in organ, eye, and tissue donation and transplantation truly mean on the canvas.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Art must be submitted online (or postmarked via mail) by Friday, November 7, 2025(11:59 p.m.pst).

Age Group Winners will be announced on November 21, 2025.

The Social Media Winner will be announced on December 5, 2025. (Social Media voting will open on December 1, 2025)

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

The overall winning design will be showcased as the 2025 Donor Network West company holiday card.

Original Design: The artwork must be the student’s original design.

Submission Limits: Only one submission is allowed per student.

Submission Formats:

Paper submissions: Must be on 8.5 x 11 paper.

Digital submissions:Must be 8.5 x 11 at 300 DPI and saved as JPG, PDF, or TIFF.

Eligible Types of Art: Submissions can include paintings, drawings, or digital/computer-generated graphic designs.

No Text: Please DO NOT include any text in the artwork.

No AI-Generated Art: Submissions created using AI tools will NOT be accepted.

Rights and Usage: Donor Network West reserves the right to display, publish, and make submissions available to the public.

Non-Returnable: Artwork will not be returned to contestants.

Inclusive: Designs should appeal to people of multiple faiths and ethnicities.

Submission must be from within our DSA (Donation Service Area): Northern California & Northern Nevada

WINNING CATEGORIES & PRIZES:

**Overall Winner:** The winning artwork will be selected as DonorNetwork West’s official holiday card for 2025. The winner will receive a prize of $250.00 and will also receive 50 cards with envelopes featuring their design. The artist’s first name and last initial will be printed on the back of the card to acknowledge and credit their creation.

**2. Age Group Winners:** Three (3) winners will be chosen, one from each of the following age groups, with each receiving a prize of $200.00:

– Age 13 and under

– Age 14 to 18

– Age 19 and above

**3. Social Media Favorite:** One (1) additional winner will be selected based on social media engagement. The entry with the most likes across our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and Threads) will receive a prize of $100.00.

JUDGING CRITERIA:

Submissions will be judged on the following criteria byDonor Network West Staff:

•Creativity

•Visual Impact

•Artistic Merit

•Originality
